I have an enviable reputation in airfield project design. I am recognized for both my creativity and my deep knowledge of the technical and strategic issues of airport projects, qualities that have often resulted in striking successes, particularly in the context of construction in operationally critical environment. My proven experience and my leadership in planning, designing and delivering airside construction projects in Montreal and other international airports are among the key components of my success. My expertise covers preparation of airfield restoration programs based on sound life cycle management, airside layout design, pavement design and evaluation, aircrafts movement simulation, airside capacity, and project sequencing in order to keep the airport in operation.
Until February 2020, I was a deputy director of Planning and engineering in Montreal Airports. I manage an internal as well as an external team responsible for the operational design, feasibility studies, the preparation and updating of related infrastructure master plans, the preparation of the restoration program of all airfield infrastructure projects at both Montreal-Trudeau Airport and Montreal-Mirabel Airport. I am particularly responsible for gates, Apron, Runways, Taxiways, Holding bays, Visual aides configuration, and design.
I am an award winner of best achievement as project manager in Montreal airport for 2014, the project was to build the arresting cable system for military aircrafts in Mirabel airports.
Merit award ACI for best civil engineering project, 2015 : reconfiguration, certification and designing the the second longest runway in Canada, the Runway 06-24, and related taxiways and holding bays at YMX airport.
